The Digital Diaspora Family Reunion (DDFR) Roadshow comes to the Sugar Hill Children’s Museum on January 22th at 3:30pm with co-host and co-producer Reverend Malika Lee Whitney. Participants are invited to share family photographs and the stories that accompany them. This roadshow is for kids to adults and price is $7 for adult and free for kids(0-8).
The Digital Diaspora Family Reunion is an interactive multi-media project designed to engage community through cherished visual images and narrative reflection. The goal is to highlight the importance of ones’s own personal, family and community photos as historical artifacts in the making. The interactions among participants create dynamic and surprising connections.
A special segment of the presentation is entitled, BABY, IT’S YOU!. Children and folks of all ages are invited to share their photographs and the stories that accompany them. The Digital Diaspora Family Reunion is presented in association with Pickney Productions.
