Old Harlem New Harlem – “Images of Transformation”

Old Harlem New Harlem” is a new photography exhibition at the Rio II Gallery Penthouse that documents the transition of Harlem from 1960s to the present. Images by sixteen independent photographers focus on depicting the real history and culture of Harlem. The exhibit is curated by Anthony Barboza and John Pinderhughes and Lisa DuBois.

The exhibition had a successful opening on Friday, August 10th. There will be a special photographers’ talk on Thursday, August 30th. All are welcomed to attend the special presentation which would be followed by networking session at the gallery.
