Internationally renowned artist Lyle Ashton Harris explores globalization, desire, and masculinity of modern-day Ghana through photography, installation, and video in the upcoming Zuckerman Museum of Art exhibition, Lyle Ashton Harris: Accra My Love.
The multimedia exhibition will open with an artist talk and reception at the Kennesaw State University Zuckerman Museum of Art on March 13-14, 2013. Harris’s artist talk will take place Wednesday, March 13, at 7 p.m. in the Kennesaw State University Clayton Gallery of the Dr. Bobbie Bailey & Family Performance Center, followed by the exhibit’s opening reception on Thursday, March 14, from 5-8 p.m. in the Fine Arts Gallery of the Wilson Building. The events are free and open to the public, and the exhibit will remain on display through April 24, 2013.

Lyle Ashton Harris: Accra My Love is presented by the Kennesaw State University Zuckerman Museum of Art in conjunction with the KSU Institute for Global Initiatives Year of Ghana program. This exhibition is funded in part by the Kennesaw State University Student Activities and Budget Advisory Committee (SABAC).
