Dominique Smith: “My Mother is very organized”

Dominique Smith was one of our volunteers at our second DDFR Roadshow at theSilverDocs Film Festival in Silver Spring, Maryland. We were impressed by her enthusiasm for the project during the three days in which she helped scan hundreds of family photographic archives from the local community. During the last day, we invited Dominique to share her family photographs, which consisted or a well organized archive that her mom had put together and feature several generations including strong women whose stories continue to inspire her. The photographs begin with her parents wedding photos featuring her mother a native of Washington DC and her father, a New York native and a graduate of MIT.
